There are some really beautiful vacation places around the world, but perhaps here are 3 you have never thought of visiting.

The Kingdom of Bhutan deep in the Himalayas is a landlocked refuge situated between India and China, and it's frequently described as the last place you'll find traditional Himalayan Buddhist culture. It is one of the most inaccessible and uncommercialised countries in the world. The world that we live in today has left Bhutan largely the way it was a hundred years ago. You will definitely fall madly in love with the sheer beauty of Bhutan, the lack of pollution, be it modern rubbish, or the noise of loud blaring music.

The scenery and buildings will will amaze you, and you'll find the local people very welcoming and extremely friendly. Uma Paro offers exceptional style. Everything is geared to comfort in an understated way, and the location takes you right into the local culture. The scenery is dramatic with pine-clad valleys and snow-tipped mountains. Bhutan is Buddhist, keeping respect for religious tradition. You are able to get into this world with the inland treks, thorough tours and excursions led by guides from the hotel.

Lord Howe Island is widely considered to be the most beautiful island in the Pacific yet is less than 2 hours by plane from the east coast of Australia. The world's most southerly coral reef lies around the lagoon, and there are teeming multitudes of tropical fish close tothe beach, and not too much further away there are high quality diving sites. It's a excellent place for children The beautiful golden beaches are unspoiled and deserted, and there is so much for youngsters to do without being in any danger. There's a number of good restaurants to eat and drink at, top class accommodations, like Capella Lodge, and for honeymooners, lots of places to be on their own. Lord Howe island isn't like some Pacific Island destinations in it's beautifully clean and well kept.

Siwa Oasis is a large famous Sahara oasis in Egypt's north west corner where one of the top eco-hotels in Egypt is to be found, and the Adrere Amellal is perhaps one of the best and most luxurious eco hostels anywhere. Siwa and the Adrere Amellal are one offs, and very quickly you will relax totally, slow down to a pace of life where time is measured in 15 minute lumps, and not seconds. Where you'll accept that sand is insidious, but you can get a peek into a nearly lost world, and yet return to the civilised fantastically well staffed hotel, and sip a cool drink on your terrace, before duskand the candles are lit. All the rooms have a view of Siwa Lake and the Great Sand Sea lit by oil lamps and candles. In the winter you are warmed by coal braziers as the desert can get very cold at night. The swimming pool gets its water from a traditional Roman spring, and the Adrere Amellal is completely electricity free, so not only is nightime extremely romantic with lots of candles against a background of the phenomenal desert sky, but there are no cellphones, TV or trappings of the 21st Century. The food is simply stunning, and organic dining is quite a different experience. Adrere Amellal is completely all inclusive, it doesn't even need room keys nor is there a reception!! It is really an extraordinary place, close to many sights of Siwa, such as Cleopatra's bath, the Temple of the Oracle Ammun, and the Great Sand Sea. All of these activities and more part of the all in cost.
