The museum coastal Doñana "Torre Almenara," is located on the beach front in Matalascañas. A guided tour (minimum of 20 people) costs only 1.00 € per person, and consists of a journey of about 30 minutes with groups of a maximum of 30 people inside the museum, which is shaped like a lighthouse and a lookout topped widescreen its top about 15 metres high. In its interior there is a presentation on the 60 km of beaches in Doñana.
The museum has a botanical walk with Doñana turtles (Tortugas Moras), and where you will know their peculiarities and lifestyles of so curious reptile, which also is in serious danger of extinction. Persons entering the museum can do it individually during the public opening hours by paying same fare per person (children under 10 free). There are leaflets at your disposal in different languages to follow up on visits.
