In the middle of the pine grove of the Dune Park, the visitor can find the Museum of the Marine World, a centre of interpretation, communication and formative with a clear didactic sense in the frame of the environmental education.
The museum explains the relationship that exist between man and the sea, both from the point of view of the scientist , who study the sea as a ecosystem, and from the point of view of the people who have lived and still live for the sea, their customs, their traditional uses of it
Fundamentally the exhibition is dedicated to marine mammals and to everything related to them. We have thirteen real skeletons of species that are representatives of these waters, some of them are very spectacular a fin whale twenty meters long, for example.
Apart from this, sixteen life size models have been made of these animals to shown what they would have been like, one of them weighs more than 4.500 kg. They are suspended from the ceiling of the central room which makes them spectacular.
Summer schedule (June 12th to September 10th): Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 02:30 pm and 6:00 pm to 09:30 pm. Sundays from 11:00 am to 02:30 pm. Closed on Mondays.
Winter schedule (rest of the year): Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm and from 03:30 pm to 06:00 pm Sundays from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm. Closed on Mondays.
Calendar: Open all year except: January 1st and 6th, May 1st, from May 23rd to May 29th, and December 24th, 25th and 31st.
Prices per person:

ADULTS aged between 14 and 65 years: 6.50 €
ADULTS with 65 or more years: 4.50 €
Children aged between 8 and 14 years (inclusive): 4.50 €
CHILDREN under 8 years old accompanied by adults: FREE
GROUPS: At least 20 people to pay on request.
